Model Answer:

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in relation to my bag, which I forgot on your airlines. I traveled on the flight JQ543, from New York to Paris, on 23rd October, 2017.

I boarded the plane at 10.30 pm in the New York time. Before the seatbelt sign was on, I had kept my bag under the seat, and it was at the same place all the time. The flight landed at 6.00 am in the Paris time. As I was eager to meet my family, I forgot to take the bag with me.

My bag is of white color and has black linings drawn on it. It is brand new as I had just bought it from the New York airport. I believe the price label is still on it.

I had kept a transparent folder with important documents in it, for which I am more concerned. Moreover, it also contains some clothes and cosmetic items.

If the crew has found my bag, I would like you to return it to my address.

Thanks for your consideration.

Yours faithfully,
Chetna Solanki
