The given process diagram explains the procedure through which photographs can be obtained by using digital photographic equipment.



First of all, the device required is a digital camera along with a smart card. Both of these are used to either capture a photo or record a video. Once the image captured by the camera is saved in the smart card it is downloaded on a computer for improvization by a process called "editing" oin technical terms. Editing includes cutting, improving and formatting etc.

Once editing is finished and final photo is ready, we have these options. First, the photo could be forwarded to receivers by email; could be stores on a CD; and third it can be sent to a printing device for printing it on paper. Specialized type of paper called "printing paper" is used for printing photographs. Printers are capable of printing both a coloured photo and a black and white version

So, a photo taken by digital equipment can be further processed in various manners.
