Model Answer:
Dear Mr. Marchany,
I am writing to inform you that I cannot continue the ‘Advanced Computer Security’ course. My employment with AZtech is on a full-time basis and I am enrolled as a part-time student in this evening course.
There are several reasons why I have to withdraw from this graduate-level course. First of all, it needs extra time for completing a plethora of course materials such as textbooks, scientific papers, laboratory projects, and so on. In addition, my responsibilities at work have burgeoned. My current work-related project is taking precedence and I have to work in the evenings to complete it by the deadline. Moreover, I have to spend at least 40 minutes commuting from my office to the university in order to attend a lecture session. Therefore, I am afraid that I cannot allocate the time required for the graduate course on computer security.
In the meantime, please do let me know of any official procedures involved in withdrawing from a course.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
John Doe.
