Model Answer:
I firmly agree with the perspective that preparing and consuming meals at home is a better alternative than dining out in restaurants. In this essay, I will shed some light on the merits of eating at home and occasionally going out to eat.
On the one hand, there are some compelling benefits of having home-cooked meals. The primary advantage is the consumption of healthier food because fresh ingredients such as organic vegetables, free-range poultry, and other items can be used to prepare a dish. In contrast, restaurants use frozen items, preservatives, high proportion of oil, et cetera for preparing dishes cuisines that can lead to various health issues. Moreover, a person or family can save money by cooking and eating at home. For example, a dish costs much less to prepare when the food items are purchased from a local grocery or a supermarket chain as opposed to paying for a ready-made meal from a diner.
On the other hand, there are some pros of eating out in restaurants. First of all, a family can relax and enjoy the ambiance of an exotic place by going out for a dinner; in addition, some family members do not have to prepare the meals and clean the dishes. Secondly, people can save time spent on cooking and cleaning by eating out. For example, employees who work long hours usually do not have the time and energy to prepare meals at home; they would rather eat out.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that cooking and dining at home is better than consuming food in restaurants or diners; people can have healthy meals and save money in the process. But, families can occasionally go out to eat for a change.
