Hi Atul,I come from Hong Kong and took the IELTS exam on 25-56 Jun.
It was fine for me for the reading/writing/oral exams, but I have problem
in taking the listening exam. I used to practice the exam using headphone at home.
However, there was no headphone given on that day. The exam was taking
place in a very big hall in hotel, there were around 250 candidates sitting inside the hall
listening to the speaker for the listening test. I couldn’t concentrate and had difficulty listening to the speaker which was located at the top of the hall.
When I practice the listening exam at home using headphone, I can score 26/40.
I guess I score around 6-8/40 using the speaker on the test conducted on 25 June.
My question is can I request a listening exam using headphone ? Or can I take the
exam outside Hong Kong, for instance, in Macau?

Writing I

Thanks.
