Hello Atul. I’ve had my test yesterday.Type : Academic
Date : April 8, 2017
Test Center : Mumbai, India
~Reading : 1) The numerology practices of Egyptians, Babylonians and Sumerians- Story of Mathematics. I spent about two hours to find out where the excerpt was taken from. Fortunately, I found the same excerpt on https://www.storyofmathematics.com/sumerian.html
Believe me, it was the same excerpt that I have had in my first section of reading.
2) Invention of Plastic and its contemporary uses. (I’m sorry I can’t remember the title, but it was related to Plastic and first paragraph was about Madame Tussauds London. Some of the paragraphs also had a mention of “Infrared Guns, russian inventions, methods to preserve plastic”). I couldn’t find the same passage on google. If you know anything about it, kindly share.
3) E-learning and its benefits (I’m sorry, unfortunately I couldn’t remember the title, but it was related to E-learning) The passage also had a mention of KPMG’s attitude and examples of E-learning in Deloitte and some organizations.
~Writing Task 1 : Two table chart depict the number of male and female postgraduates in UK universities for full-time and part-time courses
Task 2: The best way to make people use cars less is to increase road toll on busy roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree ?
